About us
Finding local vendors was harder than it should have been.
We're a soon-to-be-married couple getting married in September 2026, and wedding planning taught us just how hard it can be to find the right local vendors. Between wedding expos, local markets, and Facebook groups full of endless comments and recommendations, we kept jumping from page to page, website to website, just trying to find someone who was local, available, and a good fit.
Why we started
Somewhere between wedding expos and another Facebook thread, we realized nobody had built what we needed, so we did.
It wasn't only about our wedding. We have family and friends growing their catering businesses across Idaho, and we wanted a way to support them and help them get discovered. IdaBook is for them just as much as it is for us.
What we're building
A simple directory where you can browse real Idaho vendors by category, event type, and city. Looking for a photo booth? Browse photo booth vendors in Boise, Twin Falls, Coeur d'Alene, and communities statewide. Planning a birthday and need a caterer? Same idea. Less scrolling, more finding.
IdaBook is for weddings, birthdays, quinceañeras, company events, and all the other celebrations in between. For vendors, listing is always free. No listing fees, no surprise charges just to show up in the directory.
We're based in Meridian and building IdaBook for the whole state — from the Treasure Valley to North Idaho, the Magic Valley, and everywhere celebrations happen.
