Tibbitts Film

I’m Jake Tibbitts, a wedding filmmaker based in Rexburg, Idaho. ​ For more than three years, I’ve been creating films that are cinematic, emotional, and built around real moments. My experience includes large productions for BYU–Idaho, live events, creative projects, and award-winning festival films—but weddings are where storytelling becomes deeply personal. ​ Your wedding day will move quickly! There will be moments you planned for, moments you never expected, and little interactions you may not even notice until you watch your film. My job is to preserve those moments so you can experience the feeling of your day again. ​ I bring a calm, personable, and professional presence to every wedding. I want you to feel comfortable around the camera, confident in the process, and free to be fully present with the people you love. I’ll guide you when needed, blend into the background when appropriate, and work closely with your photographer and wedding team to keep the day running smoothly. ​ When I’m not filming or editing, you’ll usually find me at the gym, spending time with family and friends, or working on my next creative idea. ​ Your wedding deserves more than a collection of beautiful shots.
